a) Improved Broadband for Beech
The Parish Plan
team had identified that areas of Beech have poor broadband speed. Council were aware
that SEEDA had
grants available to assist problem areas.
However, having studied the extensive documentation, it would appear
that these grants were primarily targeted at
businesses. The very lengthy and involved application
form to register an interest, required information that the Parish Council was unable
provide. However, in order to raise
awareness of the
problem, Council would contact a number of local and national agencies to
highlight the difficulties being experienced in the village.
