10.105 CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES
Approved that the Minutes of the Parish
Council Meeting held on 14 February 2011 be amended as follows:
item 10.98 Royal
Wedding 2011, to read ‘tree planting’ not planning. The Minutes, copies of which had
previously been circulated,
were then confirmed. Chairman Edward Neish
signed them as a true record.

Approved the appointment of Cllrs Anne Burridge and David Woodroofe and Clerk to form
panel to consider matters including:

a) The Council considered eight applications. Proposed, Seconded and RESOLVED that the
comments of the Council be forwarded to EHDC as follows:

Ed Neish and Clerk to meet with representatives from Medstead and Bentworth Parish Councils to discuss partnership on 31
March.
b) East Hants Highways HAT meeting
To be held in Petersfield Library on Tuesday, 29 March at 10.00 am. Cllr Bryan Harrison to attend on behalf of
Council.
IV)Community
and Environment Advisory Panel:
a) HCC Have Your Say on Planning for Hampshire’s Minerals and Waste –
Council had no further comments to submit.
b) Royal Wedding 29 April 2011 – following discussions with the
Village Hall committee, it was Proposed by Bryan Harrison, Seconded Ian Gibson and
RESOLVED that the sum of £250
be
granted to the Village Hall, to be used at the discretion of their Committee,
for celebrating the Royal Wedding.
c) Mobile Library – the Clerk reported the results of the recent
consultation. Beech expected to retain
one stop at the Village Hall.
d) HCC – EH Bus Services Contract Negotiations consultation – details
to be sent to Newsletter to ensure this reaches all bus users. Comments were required by 31 May 2011.
10.108 PARISH PLAN
A meeting with Linda Munday, EHDC ‘s Community Planning Co-ordinator and all
previously interested parties had been invited to a meeting on Tuesday, 22
March at 7.30 pm. Cllrs
Peter
May, Anne Burridge
and Bryan Harrison to attend on behalf of the Council.
10.109 TRAINING
Cllr Peter May reported
that he had found the HALC Chairmanship Training on 8 March 2011 very useful.
10.110 Report from HAMPSHIRE
ALC and REPRESENTATIVES
Cllr Peter May gave a report of
District Association meeting held on Wednesday, 9 March in Liss
at which the election of a new Chairman had been delayed until after the
forthcoming
elections.
10.111 FINANCE
I) Appointment
of External Auditor by Audit Commission NOTED as Jackie Bellard
of their Bolton offices.
II) Council
requested that Cllr Peter May carry out a further Internal Controls check at
the year-end.
