- What happens if we don’t get enough people to participate in the Thermal Survey?
- We need 60 households to sign up for the iRed® Thermal Survey by 31st January to proceed.
- If we don’t get the required number of households to signup we will cancel the Thermal Survey and the workshop. We will also arrange to refund all the people who have signed up and paid.
- We will still share the average and best in class annual CO2 data
- How exactly, will you do the Thermal Survey?
- The survey will be carried out by iRed specialists.
- We will require access to your property but will not enter your house.
- From your property the iRed specialists will take thermal images of your property using ground based and drone mounted thermal imaging cameras.
- For more details please see: beechpc.com/iRed-more-details
- Will the Thermal Survey identify all the insulation problems with my property?
- The Thermal Survey is not an ‘exhaustive’ survey.
- Please review the section iRed®Thermal Survey for more details on the process
- A newer house will probably be better insulated than an older house, my house was only built 5 years ago why would I do a thermal survey?
- Most builders will only implement the minimum required level of insulation at the time of construction.
- Building regulation requirements for insulation have significantly improved over time and continue to improve
- Even a new house may have opportunities for improvement due to installation or early life failures.
- Why can’t you tell me the exact time and date you will do the survey?
- We are dependent on the right ‘conditions’ eg temperature and wind, to complete the surveys
- We plan to complete several surveys in the same evening so we will have a sequence and approximate timings but we will be dependent on speed of access to each property
- What will you do with my data?
- We will take great care of your personal information as per our privacy policy: beechpc.com/privacy-policy/
- We will share you address with iRed® so they can plan the schedule of surveys.
- We will not share any other information without your permission.
- Why do you need access to my property?
- To obtain high quality thermal images the camera needs to be as close as possible to the surface being surveyed
- Why are we using a company when Alton Energy do this for free?
- We wanted to be able to offer each resident the opportunity to complete a survey this year and be able to compare their results to other similar properties and the average for our community.
- We needed to work with an organisation that could potentially complete 200 surveys in 2 weeks
- We needed an organisation that could apply a consistent set of metrics to thermal images
- Why did you pick iRed® to do the surveys?
- iRed® are a specialist thermal survey company with the appropriate experience, industry standards compliance, certifications, accreditations and insurance for competing ground and drone based domestic thermal surveys
- How do I ensure that my neighbours privacy is not impacted by drones?
- iRed® use thermal cameras mounted on drones in order to capture thermal images of rooftops. The drone only needs to be as high as is required to capture a thermal image of your rooftop and no higher or the quality of the image will suffer.
- iRed® have CAA approved drone pilots
- I have changed my mind – how do I cancel?
- The cancellation process is documented in our terms and conditions: beechpc.com/terms-and-conditions/
- How do I opt out of receiving follow up emails?
- Just let us know by emailing clerk@beechpc.com
